Thank you for joining us in turning our hearts green this February!

This February, something incredible happened: millions of people turned their hearts green to #ShowTheLove for all they want to protect from climate change — from football pitches and golf courses, to wetlands and wildlife.

We kicked the campaign off with our Game Changer report, which illustrated how climate change is impacting our favourite sports. The response was absolutely incredible, with people uniting to #ShowTheLove for the sports they cherish.

Green hearts even popped up on Sky Sport’s Martin Tyler and Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola!

But although our climate is changing, so are we. People everywhere — within the sporting world and beyond — showed off the incredible ways they’re striding towards a cleaner, more sustainable future.

To help spread this message far and wide and show just how many more incredible things are possible when we work together, we teamed up with renowned photographer Rankin and actress Anna Friel to create a stunning short animation.

But it didn’t stop there. Plenty of other famous faces joined in to #ShowTheLove too…

…as well as politicians from all walks of life.

One of the most incredible things about this campaign is seeing people from around the world unite to support the things they love most.

From our local neighbourhoods…

…to communities around the world…

… and reaching as far as the furthest reaches of Antarctica.

Even some of our furry friends couldn’t resist joining in on the fun!

And oh my, #ShowTheLove you did! When we asked you to make, wear and share green hearts, we couldn’t have expected such an incredible outpouring of creativity and passion.

Hearts were crafted…

…baked into delicious goodies…

…spotted in nature…

…and even made out of some pretty unconventional materials!

There were more green hearts than you could shake a stick at, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see such an outpouring of love and support for all we want to protect from climate change.

Whether it’s the birds nesting in your garden or the pitches where you play football with your children, we are united in the belief that when we act together we can make a real difference.
